July is upon us and for my family that means lots of backyard BBQ's and family gatherings.  At each of these gatherings there is always a lot of great food - tons of summer fruits and veggies, along with pasta salads and lots of new foods.  With a toddler and a preschooler, it's often difficult to get them to try something other than a hot dog. iVillage is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to children's nutrition.  I found the Expert Answers to your Picky Eater Problem article, and it answered a ton questions I had about getting my picky eaters to try new dishes.  There are so many yummy summer fruits and veggies, it's often hard to get the kids to try something new.  You might also check out how to get your kids to love veggies.   Snacks are always hard too...but with the Kids' Snack Swapper, it makes life easier. With just a few clicks of my mouse, I can now get boys to at least try foods that they'd once turn their noses up at.  It makes a mom proud when her little one clears his or her plate.  Thanks iVillage!  Now dinner time in our house is actually fun!
