IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS!

Post Move/Post Deletion Requests

Throughout the years, we’ve been willing to periodically move posts from one folder to another, and even occasionally remove posts that were put up in error. However, we will no longer be able to do that. If members put a post in a wrong folder, things should be fine – we don’t want to scare our members by being too restrictive with our folders. If the same member consistently posts to the wrong folder, to the point where it becomes problematic (such as posting prayer requests in a debate folder) they can be gently guided to the correct folder. Most times, it’s an innocent mistake and may even open up conversation in a new and unexpected way.

If someone posts something they want removed, we will be encouraging everyone to use the edit option instead of removal. Removing posts will only occur if the posts are violations of TOS, or if they include information that is hazardous to someone’s safety, such as sharing of personal, identifiable information. We will also continue to remind everyone to be careful with what they share in an online, public forum where they don’t know who will be reading it.

If you feel you have a serious situation that would cause an exception, please report it via RAV, but we will only be making few exceptions, and those will be situations found to be severe. Thank you for understanding!
