Along with the bold new
colors and the customized content, we've gained an incredible source of
information for us to use within our own communities. The merge of Parent Soup
and ParentsPlace not only created Pregnancy & Parenting, but a place where
everyday experts can meet and converse on how to create a better, more
welcoming environment for members - the Pregnancy & Parenting
team board.
In just a few days, I
have seen new friendships made, heartfelt P&PTs offered, countless
congratulations made and all with people we may have never met. If the
Pregnancy & Parenting team board is any indication of what is to come, then we
are going to be one fantastic, united channel!
I hope by now you have
had a chance to check out what's new with
iVillage, as well as what's new within
Pregnancy &
Parenting. Did you test out any of the new features (how cool
is the personalized page?!)?
One of my favorite new
features is the "Go to Communities for:" column. I love that I can jump to a
specific section in the MBC (message board central) and browse message boards
similar in nature. I'm also a huge fan of the new fourth column. I've already
found articles that I never would have located had they not been right there.
